I did it again. Yes, it's 5am in the morning and I'm still wide awake. I've just completed watching the whole series of Perfect Cut. And just a few days ago, I slept only at 11am. Even I myself have to admire myself for being able to do that. Actually....I'm not that sleepy yet. Should I continue to watch my Little Nonya or sleep before those eye rings take its toll on me?
By the way, did I just hear the chirping of the birds? (:

Before anything else..
Merry Xmas to all! :D How's everybody doing? Bet all of you are out celebrating this festive season with your loved ones. Me? Just back from Marche (ok i know, i just had that yesterday. i'm just addicted to their pasta and lamb shank! :p) and now, I'm waiting for time to pass and will be out to catch a movie with DearJL and her boyfriend later on. I'm feeling all jumpy and ecstatic about almost everything and I just couldn't stop whistling the tune of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Hehe.

Met up with my Dear for lunch and shopping at VivoCity yesterday. Of course, there's another agenda to it.. to give her the Xmas pressie I've bought for her! Bought something which is kinda "dislike-proof". Having been friends with her for so long, it's discernibly clear what she likes and dislikes. And I know, Adidas apparels will never go wrong!
To begin with, I think it's important to note that the gift should be something useful and practical and not something that you buy for the sake of buying. I mean, it's kinda rude to buy something that you obviously know that the other party doesn't like but bought it because it's cheap or for whatsoever reasons. Ya?
Okay, shall not digress. Darling noticed this cute lil red chair at the open space and here we are! :)

Ignore our disheveled hair. The wind was so strong and our hair was like a magnet to Dear's just applied lipgloss from Stila! Hah. I know, that sound kinda gross. We almost laughed our heads off whenever hair got stuck to her lips and god knows whose hair was it.

Apples and oranges? Where the hell did we get that? Heh, from Marche. Shhhh*

Noticed that Dear donned a very different kind of dressing style from the usual? She did it just to complement with mine! How sweet was her. (:
Xmas this year was made simple, yet a peaceful and happy one. I guess, nothing's more important that having your loved ones with you to celebrate this joyous occasion. God bless to all.

One of those very girly stuffs we girls love to do is to don the same outfit as each other. And this is exceptionally true for BFF's, just like us. (:

Had a fun-filled (or rather sun-filled) Sunday with Dear at East Coast Park. Woke up early in the morning and took bus 76 there together. Thanks to her that I'm aware of the existence of the underpass that goes there.
Kickstarted our day with my favourite breakfast place at the Beach Hut! For a price of $9.90+ per pax, I could't help reiterating how worth it it is. Hehe. Everything was fine except that a lao ah-pek attempted to take pictures of us! If not for having used the same phone (N70) before, Dear wouldn't have notice that stealthy act of his. He pretended to make a phone call and just snapped clicking the side button. And guess what? It was the shutter sound that actually gave him away! lol~ Exploiting his dirty act did cross our minds.. but well, we just didn't have the guts and in the end, we chose to close one eye.
During our one hour of cycling, we spent a good 15-20 minutes finding a good spot to hide ourselves from the glaring sun. And the motivation to cycle? To cycle away from the sun! Ha-ha-ha. And to think we kept u-turning around the area where the sun is hidden away! Gosh. And fancy me saying this out? We girls.... :p

And what's a cycling affair without pictures of us riding on it? Bingo. Well.. We got so obsessed about escaping from the sun that we forgot all about it. Only realized it upon returning the bicycles to the shop. Argh.
But still, I enjoyed myself though throughout the day, I was pretty distressed 'bout the news of Chew Chor Meng getting struck by Muscular Atrophy. It just couldn't get off my mind. He was such a great actor and has brought us so much laughter with the popular sitcom "Don't Worry, Be Happy". For your info, while Muscular Atrophy is not life
-threatening, it is incurable and causes progressive muscle weakness. Which means to say, he will age faster than a normal person does and will expereince difficulties in moving around. In the worst case scenario, he may be wheelchair bound in years to come.
Sigh.. On the flip side of the coin, this serves as an important reminder to us not to take our loved ones for granted as life is so unpredictable. No one knows what will happen in the next minute. Well, easier said than to be done. Ya?

Today marks the first day of my term break and I'm almost dying from boredom. This long awaited break just spells c-r-a-p as Celine has been struck by recession and is officially broke now.
After 6 months of hiatus, I finally dug out my NDS and start playing with it! Hehe. Downloaded over 20 new games like Unsolved Crimes, Trauma Centre 2, Dragon Ball Origins, Zelda, Sims 2 Castaway and many many more.
Will be going for Yogalates more than ever. Though the first "training" on Saturday nearly killed me. =x
Ok, maybe I'm just exaggerating. But it's just that the section on "abs-training" is sooo tiring! Even Daphne, my new acquaintance made during the class, could help saying it was torturous man. Fancy doing 280 times of crunches.. How? And mind you, we don't do crunches. It's something much more strenuous. Bleh. And now, my muscles are aching. :(
But girls, try it! It's really beneficial. For your info, Yogalates is the combination of Yoga and Pilates. The first part of the class will be based on some basic poses of Yoga, followed by some cardio exercises and abs-training. Feel free to join me if you are interested! Will be more than happy to have khakis. hehe.

*Sighs* More jobs please... Celine doesn't want to be a poor tai-tai for this 2 weeks. lol.
Okay, I shall get back to my dramas! Have over 50GB of American-serials yet to be watched! Adios~

And when two meets five...

Sneaking out of the room to prepare the cakes and stuff was almost brainless as the fact that Baby fell asleep made things way easier than I expected! Teehees*
And of course, the cake took him by surprise as he knows how lazy am I and how seldom I give surprises. bleh, to think i have the cheek to say that out. :p
Having the craving for pork knuckles and we wanted a tinge of novelty, we decided to try something new. And so, we had our first foray into German cuisine at Magma German Wine Bistro. Tucked away at a corner of Teo Hong Road (around Chinatown area), the interior was kept simple and casual.

To kickstart our meal, we ordered Sausage platter and a bowl of soup each. The Pumpkin Soup with special Pumpkin oil was quite a disapopintement. It was akin to those served at other restaurants, nothing special. Wheras for the Spicy Goulash Soup(Beef), it was still not bad. In it contains diced beef, and chopped potatoes. A tad spicy though, not suitable for me.

Wherever I go, my main course would either be beef or lamb shank. Never doubt my love for them. hehehe. But still, so far among all the steaks I've tried, none is incomparable to the one I had at Borsche Steakhouse. Second would be the one at Dozo.

And there it is.. The long awaited Roasted Bavarian pork knuckle
with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. I would say it's pretty not bad. The meat was really tender and the skin was light and crisp. Not too oily, just nice. (:

Well, people say, German beer is the best among all. But I beg to differ. If you had asked me to choose, I would prefer Tiger. Baby couldn't agree more too. But it's kinda subjective too. It all boils down to your own preference.

All in all, I would rate it 2.5/5. German cuisine is not really to our liking. We even skipped desert. Quite overpriced I would say. The interior was a tad too casual for any celebrations to be done there. Would be more suitable for a place to hang out on Friday nights with a bunch of colleagues.

Dear, this is the 2nd year I'm celebrating your birthday with you.. I hope to celebrate your every year with you. I promise to make it a better and special one next year k! Muacks* loveya~

HELLOooo! :D
Celine is finally back for some serious blogging! Alright, just some updates on myself...
Exams were just over. Gave a speech on plastic surgery today and I thought i did pretty well, (at least better than the previous time?) heh. And for the next 2 weeks, I shall just make use of the time and catch up with my ol' good friends! This two months, I would say things went on pretty smoothly. Both studies and work. As for my love life, things got a little haywired but still, we managed to sort things out and now, we are doing even better than before. :)
Went to the BlueCanyon Sale with dearJL on Saturday. It was awesome i tell you!
Abercrombie logo tees were sold at around 20% off original price. We both got same designs, but diferent colours! Catch us wearing that in next outing. teehees*
Xmas lightings are all up now.. How lovely. I just can't wait to celebrate Xmas with my loved ones! After Xmas, it'll be New Year! Baby is comtemplating if we should welcome the brand new year with champange and fireworks at The Scarlet Hotel. Somehow or rather, a hidden part of me would very much like to keep things simple. Afterall, we are still stuck in that winding trail of recession and god knows when will it end?
Well, it doesn't really matter where we celebrate. I'm contented to just be able to catch the lovely fireworks with my darling just like last year. :)

Heh, the background seems to bring us back to the Robin-Hood times. Where were we? Give it some thought. You might never know. *chuckles*

And when one meets nine....

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY BEST FRIEND!! :D

Darling didn't ask for anything special, but just a simple celebration with her bf, me, and her cousin. Yes, just the 4 of us.
That's her. :)

As we didn't want to sing with our bloated stomach, we shopped around the revamped Liang Court and ended up meddling with some of the props which belonged to a shop which were still under renovation. gosh. lol

The missus shall just stop here for the time being. That's all she has for now. One at a time ya. She desperately needs to change her bedsheets and do some room cleaning before those polluted air take its toll on her. :p
Will be back on more photos of me and my baby and events I have done over the months.
On a sidenote, I feel like changing my blogskin again. Somehow, it isnt that pleasing to the eye now. Sigh.
