i've finally finished the whole series of "the defining moment"! in my whole 17 years, i've always thought that fann wong is the prettiest woman in the world, and till now, this thought has never changed. and i guess, never will! she's like snow white lah! fair skin, nice cheekbone, distinct features.. its like wow man.

gonna TRY to tuck in now. i woke up at only 4pm today, so what you say? im still feeling kinda energetic now though. gonna work 10-to-10 at a job portal roadshow at ngee ann city from fri to sun! sigh, baby got invited to a company dinner and couldnt come to fetch me from work. :(

anyway, just received a tiger beer event next week! doubt i'll have enough time to finish my o.c and those dramas on mobtv. but well, at least, i'll be kept busy la. busy earning money. *teehees*

its a lovely friday spent with my dearest jl. this girl ah, asked me to wait alongside the road and then she called to say she drove past me alrd. and ended up going a one big round again. lol.

headed over to shaw for our favorite pahd thai! then walked over to suntec to catch the movie "meet dave". it was pretty average, way below my expectations for an eddie murphy movie though.

next stop, holland v! i kept bugging dear to drive me there but she kept saying she don't know. me trying to be the smart alec, starting flipping here and there for the place but to no avail. we ended up calling up friends to ask.

thank god we found our way there in no time! it wasn't that difficult ya? and now then we knew holland v is just miles apart from dempsey hill. =,=

i was teling dear how great wala wala cafe must be after looking at all the raves of it at some foodie forum. well, we didnt go there in the end as dear said she dont wanna drink and drive! so we just randomly went to an ice cream shop by the name of "cold rock ice creamery".

that's me, trying to act happy eating the ice-cream. which in fact, i dont.

this stupid ice cream sundae costs me $9.50! =,=

lingered around that place till like 1+ and off we go, to my place.

wait wait, how could the date be complete without our camwhoring session? heh. to think that we actually spent like 45 minutes in the car taking pictures. bleh.

when things got a little mundnce, we started cracking our brains on new poses.

whee! exams are officially O-V-E-R! the bombardment of pictures simply spells how im feeling right now. ecstatic.

the feeling of knowing that you have nothing to do the next day is simply great. rarely i could wake up only at 4pm, hop out the bed to switch on the radio and grab some magazines to read over the bed and just wait for time to pass. and when i mean rare, i mean it. even during weekends on school days, i have to work in the afternoon. i hate to remind myself im gonna start working on the 29th. and not to forget, hotel shoot with eveline sometime ard this wk too. :\

did i forget to mention that i'll be working with Ashley this time round?

ok, back to reality. baby's off day coincided with our 11th monthsary. this time round, no breakfast as we couldn't wake up. or rather, me. baby had a hard time getting me out of the bed. oops. hopped over to chanel counter to get some cosmetics (sponsored by baby as my monthsary gift! i bought a ashworth shirt for baby, the one he's wearing in the pictures) and my makeup done. now, im really addicted to chanel as its really long lasting and even for pp who has oily skin like mine, the liquid foundation really stays on my face without wearing off even after 8 hours. well, there's a price to pay.

we did something we have never done before. and that is neoprints! i know i know, it's kinda passe now. but i would really love to have photos of me and baby stuck on my wallet. heh. gonna get baby to scan it into the com.

not going to get my lv bag anymore. decided to get in only at xmas time. i want to earn and save more first. oh ya, i changed my blogskin to something more minimalistic. found the previous one kinda typical. don't really like it. argh, i just couldn't find the perfect layout that matches my preference.

its 445am now. i woke up at 430pm today. hah, and now, im preparing to go to sleep. just finished studying my POA, left the theoretical part. sigh, feeling so vexed now. had a quarrel with baby and my eyes are swollen after all the crying. sigh.

amelia is going to paris next friday! am thinking if i should ask her to get my LV speedy for me.. eveline has alrd asked her to get 2 chanel necklace! rich girl. hah. i want to get out of singapore too! just met up with my cousin back from aussie last sat and his idea of me going to melbourne to visit him before he goes to england was really tempting! discussed it with baby and he said he will gladly go with me, provided i pay my own tickets cus he hate "ang-moh" countries. lol. really hope i will be able to make it to aus as i have been saying i want to go new york to visit another cousin with ashly but in the end...=\

The Asience Roadshow @ Expo for Watson's Mega Sale backdated 3 weeks ago.

The models for the week: Celine, Eveline, and Nikki! Heh. :)

Got to know quite a few new friends like Coreen, Nikki, Brenda, and the other one whose name I've forgotten! Thanks to Eveline that my 3 days at Expo was totally awesome! Heh. Being both Taurans, we just have so many things in common! We both love Hello Kitty(we even have the same plushie!), love mayonnaise, dislike spicy food, love black forest cake, love Tiramisu and so on!

To be honest, it's really hard to find someone whom you can really click in the modelling circle. There are just countless people who wears a mask 24/7, and it's really at your own risk to work with them as you wouldn't know when they will tell tales behind your back! Whilst some are forever getting ready to claim credit for what they have done. Gosh. How complicated.

We actually worked together once in an Fortis event 2 years ago, but didn't really contact each other after that. And to think that she lives just a few blocks away from my Baby! :D

Will be going foot massage with her and ktv right after my exams! Have a shoot sceduled with her too! Zoo trip with Nikki and gang will be next. And DearJL will be driving me out again! Yeah, AGAIN. She just drove me and my baby out for movie and supper last Friday! Heh. We had such a great time man.

This Friday.. just the 2 of us. .Chilling out at Dempsey or Thomsom, which is better you say? Or...Cafe Del Mar?? :)

woohoo~! i can't help feeling that lady luck is with me! my golf event got confirmed, so is the job portal event, and so is the exhibition job at expo! and oh ya, and the tiger beer event this coming saturday! hehe. and that means money will come surging in. hah, surging, what a word to use. :p

now, am still waiting for confirmation on the GCA event, champagne event, and the promoter job. wish me good luck yea? i swear im just gonna work till i drop for the rest of this year. and when everything's done, im just gonna reward myself with 1 LV bag. and this, i promise too.

meanwhile..

so here iam again, in the wee hours blogging. seriously, im not at all sleeping. every night (morning), i sleep for the sake of sleeping. i dont know why, but im just super energetic at these hours and i really have a hard time getting to sleep. and i tell you, this has got to be the best time to memorize those marketing definitions terms that simply just turns me off in the afternoon cus they only make me sleepy.

whenever i watch dramas or go surfing the net, i cant help feeling that im just a country bumpkin. is like, there's so many things i have yet to see, so many places i have yet to go! i know at my age, im really considered lucky and pampered. and friends whom dont get to enjoy what im doing always gives me a tongue lashing and says im forever complaining and forever not contented. oh well. life's like this. once you get something, a new thing will just pop out, and the whole cycle repeats itself.

but seriously, for now, i only want something. and that is save, save, and save! all these years, i've always been self-sufficent and i pay all my bills myself. and you would be surprise i could actually afford to sign up a whole package of facial collagen treatment myself with all my hard-earned money which costs me $100 per session which in the end summed up to be 1k? and that was when i was just 14? but hey, nothing to be proud of because as years went by, i start to get a tad too complacent and became a spendthrift. and "poof", there goes ALL my savings. and now, im like so so so broke now? and i guess thats mainly the reason im getting more and more greedy and materialistic(?)(though baby claims that im actually not)??

in no time, i'm just gonna turn into a couch potato. you know those kind who watches drama the first thing they wake up even before even getting washed up, then find whatever food she can finds in the house, then pause her videos for just a fraction of a second to go find food.. then when the sun sets, she repeats the same whole routine again? ya? that's what I'm turning into now. the temptation is just too great to resist man. it just ain't the right time la.. when my econs paper is just 3 days away? and what am I doing right now? lol.

know what's on my mind right now? if time allows, i would really love to give a click and just buy a ticket to California now man. to see how awesome California is, how parties are being held there.. do everyone lives in such big terrace houses when they can hold parties whenever they want? i want to go to the beach and bask in the hot sun with the privilege of going ga-ga over cool hunks (oops!)

how nice if california is only a distance away from sg just like how bintan is from sg..

I really couldn't think of a better place to shop other than Vivocity in Singapore. It really lives up to their name- Singapore's Largest Retail and Lifestyle Destination. This retail mall just have everything I want man. Topshop, Warehouse, Mango, F21, M)Phosis, GG>5 and so on. I wonder if you guys have realised it, but each level is kinda segregated ito different categories. First level comprises mainly of shops from UK, whilst the 2nd level are shops from local or other countries!

And again(?!), I spent my lovely Wednesday with my Sweetheart at Vivo. :)

And here we are, both donned in the same dress in different colours, thus suggests the title. Heh. Did I forget to mention that that this dress was mailed to my doorstep as a surprise by Sweetheart? :)

We are forever taking advantage of having cheap meals on weekdays. *hehehe* Especially set lunches at restaurants like HK Kim Gary Restaurant. For a 3 course meal comprising of a drink, main course and 1 side dish, it costs us only $10.90! Compared to Hongkong Cafe, it's relatively cheaper. Food was pretty good too.

Ain't she cute? Heh.

What more could we do after 4 hours of shopping straight?

It's none other than tea-time @ Bakerzin! My favourite!

I tell you, the cakes there are simply fantastic! They have a tantalising array of cakes for you to choose from. And Lavande was my pick of the day. Infused dark chocolate mousse cake with macaroons on the side. Not too chocolatey, not to sweet, just nice. :)

A piece of cake + Any beverage in the menu = $9.80! Cheap cheap cheap! Now you know how great is it to shop on weekdays ya? *chuckles

Oh, how nice if I could have tea like this everyday! Cakes cakes cakes. I don't know why, but the thought of cakes just make me happy, much less eat it. Heh.

While on the way to Serangoon..

We ended the day with dinner at Cafe Cartel with Baby @ Serangoon Garden. Oh man, what an unpleasant dinner it was!

It all started with Baby asking the waiter if St Louis Pork Ribs was available, and he replied with an yes. Within 5 minutes, another waiter came to us and told us it has been sold out. How irony was it for him to say that as we didn't see any customers coming in! Never mind 'bout that. We asked for Sirloin Steak in replacment. They said they don't have that too! And they actually claimed that sirloin steak is the same as pork ribs??? Fine then.

Baby then ordered Pork Chop while me and Sweetheart oredred Macoroni in Secret Sambal Sauce. Guess what we saw within 15 minutes? The guy who was seating behind us had St Louis Pork Ribs served to him! I was like, what the?

I called for the waiter and asked for the manager. I gave him a real good dressing down man. How stupid can the waiter be to mistake sirloin steak with pork ribs? And they didn't even bother to check what was out of stock and what wasn't! In addition, bread served wasn't toasted at all. Asked for a new one, and came the same untoasted ones? Zzzz. Never mind if the pork chop was tasty. The taste of the pork chop was easily overwhelemd by the taste of flour! Outrageous!

Got 15% waive off the total bill, GST Charges, and the stupid pork chop. But still, my night was ruined. Though they offer us desert on the house, but hey, who knows what "extra ingredients" will they offer to us?

'Nuff said. It just gets my blood boiling. On a sidenote, don't you think all my photos looked kinda of low resolution and blurred? I wonder if the problem lies with collage software or what. :(

Alright, it's 5am now! Gotta tuck in soon. Catch me blogging in the wee hours these two weeks as I'll be burning midnight oil till my exams end ya!

Nothing's better than working for Fortis once again..
So here we are, at O'Learys Sportsbar & Grill.

It was great working with all of them. Especially the staff of O'Learys who were so nice to us! Didn't expect to see Eileen at Fortis! She was the MC of the day. But was too busy that I forget to take a picture with her.

And who says aunties don't know how to enjoy themselves? Heh.
