Thank God. I'll just have to bear for another month. Yes, another month.
An hour before Baby's return. Gonna catch a wink then later when he gets home, we shall have dinner together. Then, get back to sleep again.
Oh shucks! See, i told you!

Even if it's just a bus ride... *winks*

What is so powerful about love that can make a woman feel that like she's in the seventh heaven and yet the next second, turn her life Topsy turvy?
Love.. How profound..An feeling so especial..
I was never a fan of love stories. But the movie "The Leap Years" caught me spellbound. It was a breathtaking storyline as compared to the rest I had seen or heard before. This movie is based on a novel written by a local author, Catherine Lim.
It's about a young Singaporean girl who unexpectedly meets her dream man on a special day - 29th Feburary - when a quaint old Leap Year custom allows women to make the first move in a romantic encounter. And in this case, Wong Li Lin did that. Hereafter she and the dream man, both exceptionally attractive and brimming with life's hopes and dreams, are caught in a dizzying spin of events that Fate seem to like visisting upon young lovers. The young lovers meet every 29th Feb over a good 12 years, in breathless negotiations of the many pitfalls along the path of true love which has never once run smooth, before their hopes are finally fulfilled in a spectacular millennial culmination worthy of love's loftiest dreams. Throughout the 103 mins, I've lost count of the times i shed tears. And not forgetting, even for the drama "One Litre of Tears" , I don't remember being like that ! So you see.. (:That moment, I wasn't me anymore. I was her. I was Li-Ann, the lead. And yes, I felt that i was her because her acting were so real that i could easily relate myself with what's happening in the movie. So easily..put myself into her shoes.Hey man, I'm not exagerrating. The movie's really good okay? Catch it yourself if you don't believe. And we shall see. Oh nope, YOU shall see.
P/S: It's best not to watch with your the other half because it's highly likely they will find it boring. Trust me, and you'll never go wrong.
"Love is a portion of the soul itself,
and it is of the same nature as the
celestial breathing of the atmosphere of paradise."

This has gotta be the post I spent the most time on it. And guess? A good 4 hours. (:
We spent our day at Vivocity, AGAIN. Put the blame on me, my love for Vivo is infinite. They have all the shops I want just in the vincity, unlike town where shops are located at different shopping centres. Food wise, you name it, they have it.

Tell you, I just love her to bits. Up till now, she's the only one who knows how to use my LG Camera phone! And the pictures came out lovely! Aren't they? (:

I have a fetish for shopping alone and I have this thinking "Get it over and done with and leave". But with her as my companion, I'm starting to think otherwise. And you bet, she's a great one.

Just look at her dainty smile posed with the umbrella. Even with people having their eyes all zoomed in onto her, she could still pose so naturally. But me..Gosh *eyes rolling*.. I'm actually ashamed to say that I used to be a freelance model. (Models are not supposed to be shy and should be comfortable posing in public places).

Oh crap. I have this really bad habit of wearing my new clothes the moment after I buy them. Sometimes i wonder, how "new" can my clothes be??
On a sidenote, zoom in to the paper bag we're carrying on our hands. Yes, the LVER bag. And that was the bag that made us go ga-ga over it. It's just sooo sweet and lovely! HEH

I shall end with this collage specially made for my dearest. And till our next meeting, which is just a week away, see ya~!
And yes! I'm gonna go do some planning on the HK trip okay. No promises, but I'll try my very best! And yesyes, those swimming/ktv/gossiping sessions.. Now I'm gonna make sure we are, (and we WILL) get back to the past when we meet so often. No more going hiatus i warn you. Love you sweets!

While most of the people find that Facebook is an inutile application, (which to certain extent i do agree), I have to admit that the quizzes available there is came in handy especially to people like me (the office-girl) who at times of the day could just stone in front of the screen for hours!
And surprisingly, the predictions were 80% true! One of the quizzes were this : What is the true you?
1) You want your girlfriend or boyfriend to be together with you always, no matter when or where.
2) With respect to money, you spend whatever you have.
3) You think good luck is something you won't attain - you expect bad luck.
4) The hidden side of your personality tends to be a little selfish. You only do what interests you.
5) You are the type of person who assumes that the world revolves around yourself.
5) When it comes to finding a romantic partner, you make opportunities to interact with many people through club activities or a hobby, then select someone you like.
All accurate except point (2) & (3)! As stated, I only do what interests me. You wouldn't know what is up in my sleeves. Beware of me hor! :p
But hey, isn't that Human nature? Is either you get harsh and win the battle or be soft and lose everything.*evil grins*
Another one : What your handwriting shows 'bout you?
You are sometimes a very energetic person, but you are sometimes quite lethargic. You're moody, prone to ups and downs, and you don't have a lot of endurance. You range from very outgoing to very shy. You are a shapeshifter who is very versatile. You adapt well, and you look at things from many angles. You are very detail oriented and meticulous. You are a careful thinker and a true intellectual. You don't a lot of space, and you prefer to spend time with others. You are a little nosy and intrusive. You sometimes don't give people enough space. You are somewhat traditional, but you are also open to change. You listen to your head and your heart. You are a good communicator. You work hard to
attain your goals.
If you are just like me, surfing the net aimlessly and viewing my blog, don't hesitate. Try Facebook! No harm anyway. As i said, while most of the people think that it's something which is unworthy of getting their hands on, it's just what we office girls need to pass time. (:

What is work without a fun-loving colleague who accompanies you to lunch, listen to your complains when the boss chides you, and take the bus home together with you and at the same time, gossip 'bout almost everything under the sun and go snap-snap with the camera? (:

You wouldn't even feel like coming to work if your colleagues are hyprocrites who tell tales to the boss. And especially when office politics come into the picture..Lo and Behold. They will make your blood boil in no time!
Oh ya. Did i forget to mention I'll be quitting my job and be back to school in no time? (:
Whatever it is, I'll miss you Denise! ♥ XOXO

Who says guys are insensitive creatures? Did you?
If yes, please go %$#@!

I chuckled like mad when i saw this photo.
It couldn't believe my eyes when i saw this. Months ago, it was only the 4-slots photo frame. Then came this, with at least 20 faces of mine on the table! And with my pictures magnified with his 32'inch monitor.. Oh gosh.
Baby, thank you for loving me so much!!!! And thank you for giving me the "YOU'RE-MY-IDOL, WO-YONG-YUAN-AI-NI!" feeling!
:DDDDD:DDDDDDD
* Happy Valentine's day to all! (:
@ 5:37 PM

Just while you people are racking your brains over what to do on Valentine's day, I've already thought of mine. And that is, KISS (Keep it Simple Stupid). Neither candlelit dinners in posh restaurants, nor flowers shall be presented to me on that day. Instead, we're just gonna treat it as any normal day.
Usually, our daily routine would be dinner together after work, then watch our hk drama till we doze off. And bingo! That's what we are gonna do on Val's day too! (:
The average price of one for candelit dinner is a whooping $158++. A single stalk of rose would be priced at $6 instead of $2. Based on what grounds should we pay these crap prices? Just because it's Valentine's day? It's only an excuse for the retailers to make money.
To me, if a couple is happy everyday, everyday would be Valentine's day.
To be honest, I'm kinda sick of eating good food. Not that I'm boasting or what. I used to remember when I'm young, I used to look forward to wedding banquets. Because that's the only time I could enjoy good food! Not now anymore. I would be better off staying at home eating Mum's cooking. And ya, it's for real.
So come on girls. Stop bugging your boyfriend to buy you 99 roses or candlelight dinner. Like whipping a couple of mouthwatering dishes for your significant half to sink their teeth in, that would be good enough.
Trust me. Yeah. *winks*

First, we had an alfresco breakfast at Delifrance, my all-time favorite. From where we sat, it overlooked the whole landscape of Siloso beach. How nice if we could have breakfast @ Deli every Sunday. Or rather, how nice if you could put down your work for a few hours and make a trip with me out to the open instead. Wouldn't that be nice? (:
Next, we headed now to Underwater World. To be honest, I don't remember going there before. What a Singaporean I am! LOL

The giant hermit crab left me staring it at awe. Just look at the size. It's even taller than me! And the jellyfish.. Amazing creature! There are others like the clown fish, leafy-mantis, dragonhead eel and so on.
Last stop was the Dolphin Lagoon. Aww.. I didn't get a chance to participate in the interaction sessions with the dolphins. :(
I always thought Underwater World would be a boring place to go to. But after today, I was wrong. It was a real eye-opener to the marine creatures whom lives deep down the ocean. So what're u waiting for, get your butts there!
Oh ya. Did i forget to mention that I had the famous Mellben crab bee-hoon for dinner? Tell you a secret. I enjoyed the soup more than the crab! It was superb! Now that I'm at this, my appetite for it is now whetted, haha! Check this out man.

Oh gosh. It's 4.18 am now! Been checking out photo collage softwares for the past few hours and bingo! i found quite a few good ones (idiot-proof in fact :p), and precisely, that's the reason i reverted back to this blog.
I never had the habit of editing my photos as i found it too much of a hassle. Be it a big zit that is on my cheek, or whatever, I'll just let it be. Why idiot-proof? Well, simply because all i have to do is to click on an icon and tadah! my photos are nicely collaged. (: Hell with Adobe. Till now, I'm still neither here nor there.
Talking 'bout design and stuff, I've to admit Ashie is a real talent. Who knows, in years to come, or even months, she may be our next famous blogger in Sg. :D
Now that Cny is coming to an end very soon, I'll have to step up on my fitness plans as willed and stop procrastinating.
And for now, I'm off for my beauty sleep. Come back soon as I still have a couple of drafts with me not yet posted! ta-dah*

HAPPY CNY! ♥

Finally, the once in a year occasion is here. The long-awaited one. (:
For the past years, Grandma will come over to our place to stay over for that few days of Cny and we'll be the host. But not this year. Her health condition has been deteriorating and thus, we changed plans and swopped over to her place instead.

Though a little crampy, we still manage to fit in the sofa to secure a position in the family photo!
And next stop, my Great Aunt's place.

And yes! I'll never miss the chance of going snippetty-snap with the kids every time there's a gathering! Kids are just so lovely and adorable, don't you think so? Their purest smile just never fails to melt my heart.
Look at the bottom left picture. That boy... He hates to admit he's too shy to give a nod when i asked him if he wanna join in. And just a second before the shutter, he rushes in.
Sigh. Kids...The minds of children are hard to fathom. Who knows what they are up to the next second.

Before i forget, remove the movie "Ah-Long-Pte-Ltd" from your "To-watch" list! Not as entertaining as i thought. Kinda lame...so ya.. Do give it a miss. Go ahead if you don't wanna heed my advice. Just don't regret. (:

"Losing control could make for a chaotic weekend. Strong emotions can come like waves to take you high and then drop you down into self-doubt or despair. If you want to avoid the roller coaster experience in relationships, do your best to maintain a calm attitude to avoid going too far in either direction."
Baby, you know my temper. So you better don't step on my toe, otherwise....Well, CNY is just ard the corner. You wouldn't want a roller coaster weekend, don't you? especially when we have so many activities lined up during the break ya. Don't fret. Just a simple trick will do the job. And that is.. Pamper me more! *chuckles**
I'm hinting you baby.. kekez ~ :p
