I got a new haircut! Hehe. During the trip at Shanghai, I got a very distinct division of my feelings. No more clinging onto the past, no whatever. I'll just look towards the future, and cherish my present. And of course, him.

Oh well, when you wanna spend every second with someone, and you have no idea why..

Hello guys! hoho, I'm in shanghai now. I only have around one hour to get online and so, here I am!

Oh my. Only one day, but I'm already having a hard time in Shanghai. Now i really love Singapore so much so much. Muacks singapore! =(

The flight to Shanghai was not very smooth. The turbulence was so bad! But i was so happy to receive so many messages from friends the moment i switched on my hp when i reacher shanghai. I'm so glad that you guys sitll remembered I'm going away. =p

The weather is really too much for me to take. I caught a cold this morning! The weather here is 21-29C in the afternoon, and could be as cold as 10C at night.

At night, the wind that carressed you is as though you are standing in front of the refrigerator with the dooe open. And it's really chilly. :(

Though I adjusted the air-con of my room to 29C, I'ld still feel as if the temp is 17C.

Food wise, still alright. But it's too oily for me.

As usual, whenever I'm out for trips with school or whatever, i would cry during the first night!

Ohya! The roaming charges are damn exorbitant okay! Just a 2o min call cost $50+. Shit. ^%$#@!

Counting down - 8.5 more days to go! I know someone is counting down with me too, because that person is missing me so badly now and wants me to say that i miss that someone. Zhutou! Aza aza aza! Bleh

You guys better miss me hor, otherwise i kill u all ah! adios~ :D

8 more hours and I'm gonna step out of my beloved country! I'll miss you Singapore, my country my home...Haha. I'm just being dramatic.

Few days before, I was excited 'bout going Shanghai. But now, not a bit. Sigh.

My tummy is bulging again. Another feast at Club CSC, a wedding dinner.
Thanks Zhutou for helping me peel all the prawns these 3 days! (your biggest and smelliest enemy!)
Hmms, let me count. 25prawns at least? :p

Gonna be off to do the final checking of my luggage. Till the 29th, see ya!

Time is ticking to 4am soon. Yawns. Just came back from Partyworld. Had a sumptuous dinner @ Hengheng Seafood Restaurant before that. Actually it was more like "Yu Tou Ru" lah. But so far, it is the best among all i had eaten this few days! :D

Haha. I nearly laughed my head off at Hengheng. One of the waitress actually looked like one of the guys in "Dong-Li-Huo-Che"!

Imagine a woman looking like them! It was really an uncanny resemblance i have to say. The way the woman tied her hair, the way she walked, the way she presented herself which looked kinda ruggard. Oh haha!

Thanks Ashie for treating me to Joqauim for my birthday LAST LAST FRIDAY! I think we really had a great time that night. We chatted almost 'bout everything. And i almost teared when i heard dear talking bout her days in secondary school life! Don't get me started 'bout the exact details. In simple words, she and her friend hid in the bush when they saw the DM! Lol~

Day 1

Finally, the weekend has arrived and my celebration starts. It was a very good start as I got almost all the stuffs i wanted for my birthday!

Well, it all begun with meeting Stevie over at Suntec. We were cracking our brains on where should we shop for a nice classy dress for our dinner date no Sunday over at Scarlet Hotel. Our first stop was the Guess boutique, which was my favorite. I have to admit their bags and watches are all so nice, but not for their apparels though. Maybe because that it was the summer season now, all the tops were far too casual.

Went to collect my Ipod Shuffle @ Terence's booth, followed by getting an Addidas Jacket for my beloved Alvin. His birthday was just a week away from mine! Albeit we have the same horoscope, our characters are not really that alike. I'm more to the perfectionist side, he was the happy-go-lucky type. But still, we were such close friends that people often mistaken that we are couples! Hah. That explains why his mother always showered me with snacks and chocolates whenever i go to his house! Heh.

Knowing that Suntec wasn't a shopping paradise, we drove over to Paragon. We thought we could get a decent dress there in no time. We were wrong! Patronized boutiques like CK, Burberry, A/X, Domanchi ; Lady luck wasn't with me i must say. It was either they didn't have my size, or they are far too casual.

Alas! Got a dress @ Nico at Great World City. Was there to get my Titus Watch from City Chain too. I was all planned to get a Guess watch initially. But the sales person said that the watch face was far too big for me as my wrist is kinda small and i doesn't look good having the watchface covering my whole wrist. So after much fussy choosing, i decided on the Titus White watch. (:

Sometimes God just love playing tricks on you. When you are not keen on buying dresses, the temptations around you are simply too much for you to bear! But when the day finally arrived, you just couldn't find the Miss-Right-Dress. :(

Steff's place was next. Her house was simply so cosy and it really gave me a very homely feeling. The dim lights accentuated the cosy ambience in there.

Took a quick snap of our lovely faces before heading to Miss Clarity Cafe at Bugis. Finally we had some nice decent photos! (:

And finally, partying @ St James ! I really had fun with all you darlings. Thanks for making time to come down ya? Thanks Jason and Steff for sponsoring the expenses! Without you guys, I'm sure things wouldn't be as fun! Aww, it wasn't complete anyway as my mirror image Ash is down with some serious flu at home. Hope she gets well soon!

Received this bouquet of flowers just before i was about to cut my birthday cake of the day! Of course, I was kinda surprised. The roses, accompanied by a beautiful Guess wallet and a birthday card!

Oh ya, before i forget to mention, we were at the Partyworld @ Safra country club. It was a special afternoon reserved just for my best buddies. (:

I was kinda honored because my teacher came too! Hah. It was meant to be a surprise, but well, i was just too quick to unravel it. =p

It was our first time we went to ktv together. I must say, these 3 guys really made a difference in my life. Without them in school, I guessed I would be as good as half dead. They were always so tolerant of me, so understanding. (though i know they never treated me as a girl lah! only with makeup on, I'm a woman. =x ).

Well, since young, I didn't have much affinity with girls. I thought things would get better but nah, it was still the same. The girlfriends i had can be really counted with my fingers. But well, in life, a few True Friends would be more than enough ya? (:

After the singing session, Stevie came to fetch me and then, we were off to Scarlet Hotel! Planned to dine on the roof top, but sad to say, we didn't manage to as there were some birthday party going on there. The restaurant was just as good though. (:

I have to say, they really provided great service and was ever ready to be at your beck and call. It was really thoughtful of them to have serve me a complimentary birthday cake after the meal! At first, i thought it was another surprise by Stevie. But it was a surprise for him too as he didn't arrange that. He claimed that it was just a casual remark made over the phone when he was making the reservations! (:

200 pounds beauty was a fantastic show! Thumbs up*! :D

The film provides a variety of spectacles from the stark distinction before and after the metamorphosis of Kim Ah-jung to the dynamic concert scenes. But what makes the film compelling is that it reflects the reality (in a somewhat hyperbolic way).

It left me with teary eyes and it actually set me thinking, would i ever get plastic surgery? Would i be able to withstand the criticisms that are no doubt gonna befall on me? Would i be brave enough and admit it? Or would i try to bluff my way through?

The answer is "Yes". If i had a choice, i would. But only on my nose, and maybe a sharper face? I just can't help feeling that looks are everything. And, a good look is power. I reckoned, we are all aware that those who vociferously advocate inner beauty do not have the same tendency in their minds. Ya?

I would admit it if i'd done one. I think there's absolutely nothing wrong. What's wrong with wanting to be pretty? Everyone wants too!

Alright, nuff said 'bout surgery.

The thing i did once i reached home was to cam-whore with my lovely flowers before they wither! :D

Had a sumptuous dinner @ Tak Po Tim Sum at Chinatown. We were all bloated man! Headed to ktv aftermath. Guess we were too bloated and that explains our coarse voice! hump. now i know, never sing after you had a heavy meal!

Hoho! My surprise of the day :D

Beforehand, Jason promised to buy a tiramisu cake for me. But aftermath, he said he simply had too many things to do in office, so he told me to make do without one. I have to admit, i was kinda sad lah. Because i always thought a birthday celebration wouldn't be complete without a cake! What's more, i looovvee cakes! =p

And so, when they came in with this cake, i was sososososo happy. ^_^

Though my first few hours of my birthday was spent crying, but that made me realized that i really have to get on with my life and stop thinking of him. I would be better of diverting all my attention on more important stuffs than to hold on to him.

This would be the last time i will smile with my swollen eyes. And finally, that's the end of my 6day celebration. And it occurred to me that no matter what, friends would always be there for you. And i know, I will have a better life, even without you. (:

I'm getting really excited 'bout my trip to Shanghai this Sunday! Will be taking the morning flight at 8am. So that means i would have to wake up at around 4+ and reach there by 6. Hopefully there will be enough time for me to have a cup of coffee there.

Lady luck wasn't with me. All were out for loan. =(

Till now, i still think he is the best author. Sheldon definitely knows how to write breezy page-turners, and his characters are absorbing and the action never stops. It is always the reason i can't pay attention in class!

The first one was a recommendation by Ashley. She teared at the ending. I wonder if i will too! But guess not lah, I'm not that kinda person who will tear easily at moving scenes. I'll only tear when I'm frustrated and things don't go my way! Haha.

Heh, still in the midst of packing my stuffs into that red luggage of mine. I'm gonna make sure I'll come back with my luggage full. I'm looking forward to going Shanghai Tan. I always see that in drama. I wonder if it looks the same as on tv (:

I was lucky to have not gotten the vaccination as i heard that the vaccination would actually make your body system get ultra-sensitive. If a tiny weeny of bacteria that is present in the food you consume goes into your body, you better get prepared to get the runs! It might not be a bad thing either. At least i could stay slim in this way! Haha.

Oh ya. I spent at least an hour scratching off those stickers from the luggage. To think that those stickers had been on the luggage since 2005! Thanks to my brother. =,=

Grrrr! I just called the salon wanting to make an appointment to do rebonding on Saturday. But the auntie is on trip to Malaysia and will only be back on Monday. Oh damn. I don't wanna go Shanghai with ugly hair! I really hate plans being foiled :'(

Heard that the weather in the afternoon would be around the same as Singapore, but it would be as cold as 10C at night. If i had knew earlier, i could have order a couple of coats online. I would definitely prefer that to jackets. Sigh.

Oh ya. Talking 'bout clothes. I wanted badly to get a white dress at F21 that day but all they had left was only a M. Checked online but there was none! *Roars*

I want that dress! I wanto do rebonding! I wana eat Pariss! I want a new tote bag for to contain my stuffs for photoshoot! I want yoga! I want to have 48 hours a day!

Yes, my Tamagotchi! Fancy me being such an old kid playing this right. Thanks Raymond for this lil' pressie ! :D

As vividly as i could remember, when i was young, i would always whine and cry whenever I forgotten to bring my Tamagotchi out! Because that time, i really loved them so much. I just felt they are just so cute! Albeit this is the latest version, nothing could be compared to my very first version of Tamagotchi! I still keep them dearly in my drawer though. It do bring back those fond childhood memories. But i accidentally dropped it into a pail of water and there it goes! :(

I named my new pet Bibi. I still hadn't got time to really go and "explore" the new functions that could be done over the webby. http://tamatown.com/.

It was an video taken on the previous shoot at Changi Broadway. I was kinda taken aback the video actually. To a certain extent, i felt kinda awkward seeing myself in that video! because this was my first time seeing myself in action during photo shoots. hah.

Phew! It was a tiring day for me. Woke up as early as 5am to get myself prepared for the outdoor shoot@ Sentosa. Had to reach there by 8.30! That explains why i have to wake up in the wee hours of the morning.

It was a bad hair day! And i looked like i hadn't catch a wink for the past few days. Well, i slept for only 3 hours! Hanged out late with my Ash dear last night. But got feedback from photographers that i actually looked better than the previous shoot! Thanks! :D

I don't know why but i was feeling kinda shag and my self-confidence was not there, maybe it was because that i didn't catch enough sleep and i knew i didn't look as good. At first, i got quite pissed off by some photographers as i reckoned they were too fussy! They were constantly harping on stuffs like "Relax your fingers, arch your back a little, chin up, a little more, nono, chin down a lil.. " But after talking to one of the photographer, i got to knew that by being "fussy", then they could produce a well portrait taken. Different photographers has different aspects on how they want a model to pose. And i shouldn't complain too. They are the ones who are paying me, and i should have listened to them ya.

Aww. I felt quite guilty as i thought i should take it more professionally and not bear any grudges instead. Some said that i was too serious! Now i know, for the next shoot (maybe after i returned from Shanghai), I'm gonna make myself tuck in early!

And yes, I'm gonna apply sunblock in future. The midday sun had resulted in me having uneven skin tone now! Grrrr..

Being the Kiasu ones, Mr Goh and me book our Spiderman Tickets 3 in advance on the 27th! Haha. Finally for once, we managed to catch a movie @ Vivocity! Why do i say so? Jolly because we seemed to have no much of fate with Vivo - they are forever full house! And the irony is, we always quarrel whenever we go Vivo! Even if we are around that area, there will be just something that will spark our quarrel. And it's always something trivial. So we kinda treated there as a taboo place. Haha.

But at least, it was a fine one today. Nothing cropped up, no full house, no nothing :)

I was quite satisfied with Spiderman 3. Though this round had more of the lovey-dovey scenes, i still find it quite entertaining. It would be better if the Spiderman's good friend (Sorry, i forgot what's his name! Haha!) hadn't be dead.

Having topped the movie box, they promised to continue producing sequels in years to come. But of course, there are much critics 'bout the show too. One of it was by Entertainment Weekly : "Spider-Man 3 is product, but it's a machine that tickles your eyes. " TO a certain extent, i do agree. Oh well, aren't all action-packed movies are like this?
